I was just at the Cabelas Mail order site. They have LRP/ LPP/SRP on sale for 19.99$ a K. They are S&B primers. All are in stock.
I don't know if the price is good in stores or not.

probably could use their ship to store thingy and save haz-mat too ??
they were also having a free shipping deal on orders over like 75$.
and their gun club shot shells have been on sale for 5$ a box [good deal... dibs on the empty hulls]

before the election last fall, I bought a bunch of win primers on a cabela's sale, they also had S&B on sale then as well. I'm nervous about switching primers,,,but I did order 1k of the S&B. I should dig them out today, and load something with them...and see if I like them, maybe I'll order some more?

Also, I've found when they have a real good sale, they almost never have any in stock at a store. unless you are their the first morning of the sale.

Fiver Cabelas will not ship powder and or primers to your nearest outlet. I found that out last year.
Also if you order from them and live in a state that has an outlet. You have to pay the sales tax.

Don't bet on this! IIRC, I asked about this about 6 months ago and told that they will not ship online primer orders to store, alleviating the hazmat fee! I was very surprised!

Oscar I had the same idea.
But at that time they also had the sale price on the shelf product without Hazmat.
I am heading to the big city on Thursday. I mite be coming home with a drained wallet.

the nearest cabela's is about 3 hours away if I haul the mail on the interstate so I wasn't aware they wouldn't do the ship to the store thing.
I know sportsmans warehouse will do it.

OK,not trying to be rude but......

I was, hauling the mail.....in the M.I.L.'s Buick Park Av on biz in Richmond few days ago.Funny how people just avoid this "classic" automobile? Not sure if it's the car or my mail handling ability?

So anyway, drop in the Cabela's.Got a little wad $$$ burning it's way through my pocket,so sashee up to the scope section.Long arse section of scopes. Two nice 40sumthin women,up the foodchain employees are leaned over the Vortex's.I'm squinting to see their offerings when one speaks up.She says she'll get someone to help me.....cool.

So this, young enough to be my daughter little hottie comes down .....mind you, right in front of the market research/analyst women and quotes.....to me,handing off the 1-6Vortex.

"I don't know anything about scopes, but will answer any questions you have".....I honestly was speechless and handed the scope back.

More and more of that behind the counters these days . Although the last sway back 20 something that was working safes , magazines and BP had at least read all the ad lit on the products and had a ready mostly correct answer for why real BP is not stocked at Scheels in Sparks NV .

Well,it was an illuminated reticle....but Cabalas' doesn't generally keep battery's in their stuff...

So..."where's the battery" spoken in my best hillbilly vernacular would have gotten no response. The second ? was about the intensity dial.....is the space between the numbers, considered "off".

Now,all this ran through my pea brain faster than these folks can check their phone....just let it go,and hand the scope back?

I bought 5K of the S&B SP primers at Cabelas. Have shot about 1800 of
them, they all went bang and are accurate at least with my old eyes.

How did they seat?
I use Winchester SP primers, and when I've tried CCI, I noticed CCI need more force to seat.
Just curious about S&B

They seated and shot just fine. I have noticed more force needed to
seat some CCI's as well.

I just got home from Easter in the big city. The best part was I picked up 3K LRP and 2K LPP. There were no SRP in the store. 101$ and change after my 5% military discount. Not bad.
