Another little bit of the past.

This , as I understand the history , was given to my Dad by a gunsmith in the 1960s .
Kind of a cute little thing . Looks like it would take 22 shorts but as far as I know only fired BB and CB caps .

Interesting little spur trigger SA revolver. There were countless variations made by countless manufacturers, on both sides of the pond in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.

That one is unusual in that it has what appears to be a rear sight and a separate blade in the front sight.

Typical of that family, the center pin doubles as the ejector. The round “side plate” is reminiscing of the Colt New Line but the gun is not a Colt. There is a possibility that gun was assembled from parts from different guns.

It was my understanding that Dick Steel of Independence CA did the work . The rifling is just lines kind of like micro groove.

The base pin will work as an ejector and cylinder jag .

The slot in the cover looks like one of the GM clutch screw heads .

The bolt spring is external.

It doesn't have the trigger set click just half and full, .

Large frame mini NAA?

Dick left us long ago .

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Looks like a Marbles Sheard gold bead set up front and a ho'made rear sight. I like it!
