Another Oddball Headed For The Safe, Range, and Field

We have a couple of those jap 1885 HW in caliber 38 rifles.....
The 35-55 is a fine shooter with a straight (heavy) 26" Octo barrel and tang sight which makes a very nice cross stick rifle.
The other is a 375 H&H with a tappered 28" tube that I really enjoy walking field edges with..

I've always had an assortment of "30 Caliber Plus" rifles on hand. Like Paul Matthews, I've had 40 years with the 45/70, even more with the 44/40.
