Athlon scopes

I have seen/read a lot about the over the last few years. The other day I decided to give them a try. I did my internet research and watched several YouTube videos. They seem to be very nice optics for the money. I opted for the Athlon Argos BTR Gen 2 6-24x50 APMR FFP IR MIL
I have not had a chance to shoot this yet but man, I am impressed with this scope for the money.https://www.amazon.com/Athlon-Optics-Argos-6-24X50-Riflescopes/dp/B087G2YBCK
The super sweet turrets and hard zero stops are worth the cost of the scope. Glass is good, not great, but we are talking sub $400 glass. All in all I’m happy. Can’t wait to go shoot it. 97CFC196-DCAE-4EBD-BDFA-965BB3CCC7BA.jpeg83F0E2B6-928F-4043-ADBC-25383975343E.jpeg73E53D69-53D6-4750-A2E6-DC343790CED1.jpeg

Well Walter we are in the same boat. I started looking at Athlon as well. I liked what I read about them. I first bough the Argos 2x12 and once I received it I was impressed. As you say for the price point. I have not shot it either, but, it looked good so I was in the market for a 20 power and they offer the Argos in 4x20 for $300. Have both mounted, the 2x12 on an AR which sported a 57 foot field of view at 100 yards. The 4x20 is on my 223 bolt gun replacing a 6x24 cheap Bushnell, which worked well, but clarity left lots to be desired. Also the field of view with 4 power is a nice improvement. Both are the capped turret side focus models.
Can't wait to try them out. Weather needs to warm up a bit more.

do they have simple rugged 2 knob 3x9 or 4x12 hunting type scopes?
it seems like half the scope makers out there forgot about them.

I got my last from Optics Planet or Planet Optics. Anyway it was the best price and in stock.
