I like to get actual velocities, it makes ballistic programs more accurate. Would love a LabRadar unit to make it easy to check ballistic coefficients too. So far the ballistic program I use has been pretty much on with the BC figures from manufacturers of Jacketed bullets when used with actual velocities out to 400+yds. Plenty far enough for my old eyes.
