you guys gotta watch Lynn's video's with closed captioning on.
the translator has no idea what he is saying sometimes and it adds in some pretty good stuff on it's own.

I like the looks of that little bullet.
if I didn't have one super similar already I'd be tempted to get that one for the 44 specials and the 44-40.
just eyeballing it I'd want to say that is one of Outpost's designs, it has those old school lymanesque type features that work so well in revolvers and lever-guns.

Good video Lynn. Like fiver, I've got one similar from RCBS that does great in 44 Special and Magnum.

I'm going to compare this with the Lee 200 FP. I have the Lee mould but needed something larger in diameter for the 624 & the Byrd Miller 44.

So you called 1-800-TOM-ELLIS like so many of us do and.....Voila! Looking forward to a gravel-pit report.

I have some someplace. I think it would be fine on the top of a mould. Cast a few bullets, cut sprue, then spray a bit on top of mould. Bullets in cavities keep it out of there.

I have used the stuff & others like it for years on the top of my moulds & sprue plates. I never use anything in the cavities, even smoke.

I understand just fine, too. Since someone brought it up...

Creeker, from your videos you remind me a lot of a good friend of mine (now passed) who was originally from "Mizzurra". Don was one of several fine gents who invested a lot of their wisdom in me over the years, particularly at times when I needed it most. If I didn't know it wasn't him speaking on your videos I could almost be fooled.

Scrawny, 20-something me, and Don posing with one of his projects that we both put a lot of work into.

1948 Chevrolet 2-ton COE that he eventually named "Big Jack". We modified and repaired an old high-side utility bed and a wrecker unit to fit, along with an aluminum sleeper from the same year as the truck. I put a 350/400 drivetrain in it because he had it already but the engine was far too weak so we upgraded to a 454/400 and a Brownlight over/under/direct unit. It was a frame-off project and Don's wife painted every piece of it either satin black or dove grey. They trimmed out the interior and sleeper (complete with window boot and pin-up girls and used it mostly to drag around other projects. The two of them used to restore vintage Jaguars for side money and were quite good with details.
