Dad

My condolences. I’m glad you had a good father. You are one of the lucky ones. I had a good one too, but my wife was not so lucky.

I'm sorry for your loss, Brad. It sounds like he lived a long and meaningful life, surrounded by some fine people. Which is all we can hope for, in life.

My condolences Brad.
You were lucky to have a Father that spent time with you and gave you great memories.
Try to keep your Mom occupied. She won't know what to do with herself, without someone to look after.

Sorry ta read his last days were not easy. He is no longer in pain. You will see him again.

My condolences Brad. Sounds like you had a great Father.
My Father and I were at each other during my late teens till early twenties. I could use the excuse that he was the reason I left California for Alaska, but the adventure was the lion share of the decision.
But, in 1977 CR and Mom drove up the Alcan to visit. They ended up staying for 2 months of the summer. Obviously we patched up our differences.
After that he would come up every summer and spend 3 sometimes 4 months with us. We were the best of friends. He was my best friend ever.
In 1994 he was in a car accident just down the street from my store and had serious head injuries. Needed care 24/7 until he died in December of 2000.
You and your Dad sound a lot like my experiences that CR and I had.

God bless your Dad and you.
