Quick backstory. One of my sons(got four) is getting married. His brothers and I decided around a campfire late one night to each pitch in and get him his own reloading equipment."I got the press"...."I'll get the scale"...and so on.Also deciding he needed to "go green".His twin has all my old Pacific/Hornady stuff....so he's red.I'm Lyman orange(for better or worse).

Well,we got a minty,as new 1967 Jr press. The date is on the top, next to threads.

The powder measure/stand is "pre green" hopper vintage......it is clear.

Does anyone know when RCBS changed uni flow hoppers to green?

Yes,I've been searching, and will continue.Yes,could call RCBS but what fun is that?,haha.

Testing the brain trust here is more fun.

I'll have to check my JR and see if it's dated. I bought it in kit form, new in the mid 70's, as well as the Uni-flow. The powder hopper is green. Lost the lid and RCBS replaced it, but it's nothing like the original. Black pliable plastic, like those found on plumbing pipe.:(
