A friend of mine has a German Shepard/Golden mix that's the right color mix, and passes for a large well-fed coyote at even short distances. Fortunately she never leaves the farm, and the only people who hunt nearby know her well.

That's a good start in my book. Don't have much use for the coyote or the booze.

Coyotes are God's idea of a great rifle and handgun target. For that, they are quite useful.

Both have their place, but both seem to be far too common in either existence or use to suit my taste. But then, I haven't had real great experiences with either...either!
