If looking for bughole groups...
Your bench etiquette is going to be a major concern. That's the "software",the hardware is your Fr,rr,rests and how they play with your stock design. Then it's back to the soft side and how your chosen load recoil pulses.
Get as wide/flat...and balanced (overall pkg) forend on your shootn arn as allowed by rules.Forget (CRS) which co. makes the "accuracy assister".It's an aluminum channel that attaches to your Fr sling stud.It's,OK...but leaves a cpl things on the table(ha).Meaning with initiative, you can fabricate much better. You're trying to enlarge the window during the recoil pulse that's the sweet spot on your hold.
Speaking of which, your load balance, and gets real technical on (bullets) bearing length/velocity/twist/BC.Bryan Litz?Pretty much lays the smack down on this...googling will find him.One trick to fully test your load's balance is ho it handles wind.Don't always wait for perfect, calm shooting days....
We set up archery arrows weight balance noticeably different for indoor vs outdoor...and slightly heavy (FWD)yet in windy outside conditions.Just another consideration. We run parallel testing, calm days...windy.And end up with two different setups. And NEVER shoot without wind flags. This all based on competition...hunting,plinking don't have "quite" the importance on some of this. For instance, buds bags are better,IMO,than heavy BR style rests for non competition pkgs.
