Know there are a lot of critics of Lee molds, I am not one of them. Think I have all of the lee 2 cav molds for 30 cal, but have a fondness for the 150, and 180. Shot the following loads yesterday at 50 yds on a high 80's day with maybe 5-8 knots of wind and a blue bird sky.
180gr Lee, Al GC's (can't remember who made them), sized .310" Ben's Red,1 coat Bll, BH 22, over 18gr 2400, (dac fill). 5ea 5 shot groups spaced about 8-10 minutes between groups. M10 Sav. Heavy BBl 308Win, 4x12 power Bushnell scope.
#1 =1.050" (pushed one just a bit, other 4 were .9"
#2 =1.40" (?)
#3 =1.0"
#4 =.975"
I believe this will be the load I will shoot for the next CBA Postal Match.
