Noticed midway had a few items I've been in need of on clearance. One item was some 22-250 brass. Had fiochii @ half price. The bonus?...it is primed. No hazmat on primed brass plus 56%off.:)

Cool.
A friend got a bunch of .50 cal brass because loaded ammo ships easily while powder is a PITA, internationally.
So, IMI apparently shipped a LOT of gunpowder to a US buyer in .50 cal cases with some sort of a "bullet" to cloes
it. They pulled the bullets dumped the thing they wanted, the powder and sold the "used shipping containers" really
cheap, primed .50 cal brass. He got a bunch for very little money, new IMI .50 BMG primed brass.
IIRC something like 25 cases per lb of powder, so a pretty good way to ship it.

Gaming the rules.

Good deal.

The 22-250 is a great chambering.... it seems to always get thrown up against 223's and slightly lesser 222's in some sort of comparison? Heck,I've been there.....so can understand. But the 250's .473 head diameter just makes it so much more gun friendly and is one point that often gets left out of the discussion.

And it's not like you can't have both,223 AND a 250,haha. Even with cast, they can be amazingly accurate and frankly, pretty durn easy to load for.
