I was just over on CB and saw Mihec has a new GB going on a pretty good looking .358/.360 mold. !65 grains, solid or HP, GC or PB, 2 to 8 cavities.
I will probably end up on the signup sheet. Kevin

I surely do love Miha's molds but I had to give up on them, the last one I got was over two years from sign up to mold in hand. At my age if I order another one I may not ever see it. o_O

You won’t be disappointed. Miha makes a very good mold. In my opinion if you want to cast hollow points his molds are the only option other the Erik doing the insert bar for you.

Just an FYI there are a few of us running these mold buys a lot faster nowadays.
Typically if we make 20 molds then they go last call and we see them run in about a month.
Solids run very fast.
Hp molds take time Miha has to wait for someone else to make the pins.
He is at there mercy....
He is trying to source a used lathe to bring the work in-house.

Typical buys now take 2-4 months some short some longer compared to years.
I have not had one with good participation on the sign up side take over 7 months.

I hope that's the case. I'm in for a 44 caliber 250 LBT designed HP that just recently closed...............we'll see how long it takes to get here.

Wasalmonslayer speaks the truth. What previously took years, is now down to a couple of months for the Group Buy to play out. I just received my special order (sized .455") H&G #68 clone mould from Miha. Exceptional as always.

There has been three of us working directly with Miha we have even set up conference calls to help iron out some of the kinks in the system so production does not take so long.
Miha is a great guy and makes one heck of a fine mold!

I doubt you'll find very many that will argue the quality of his molds. The last one I got I was the honcho for, from the time the sign up list closed to mold in hand was over a year. All told with the interested in list, the sign up list after he agreed to make it to actually getting it was like three years. It was more than enough for me to just give up on them. Was another I got in about a year after I signed up for it but the list had already been going on for some time then. I have several of his molds and love them all, just ran out of patience but not frustration.

How's his English? I had to contact him several times via PM and email about my special request, and finally got a response to an email with the headline in Slovenian of "Please reply to this email". ;o)

His English is actually really good.
Sometimes it takes him a minute to figure out the right word but his ability to talk English is great!!
We are trying to revamp the group buy thing so it is more streamlined and easier for Miha and the buyer!
It kind of derailed there for a while but is starting to come back around.

Problem I have had is one mold is absolutely perfect while the next one is total garbage. I have had 3 bad ones out of the 5 I have ordered. I will not order anymore.

Went in the basement this morning, and did some casting with my new mould. This is one of the moulds that Wasalmonslayer ran on the cast boolits website. Miha did a special request for me for a larger size H&G #68 mould that casts at .455". With my alloy, they are coming out at .456" - perfect! I will size some to .455" and with some I will use my .457" sizer to leave them as cast to see how they shoot. This breathes new life into those large throated Model 25's.
