Tanks seem to be becoming obsolete real quick if Ukraine is any indicator. I doubt we'll see another "commie hoardes coming through the Fulda Gap" scenarios again. Time will tell, I suppose.

I think I read something a little while back that said the USMC was getting rid of it's armor. Seems about as smart as getting rid of good boots and waterproof ponchos to me...

They seem to be awfully vulnerable to armed drones and even guys with man portable AT weapons. I guess we'll see.

In my opinion, 50 years out of date, is that Armor is still the answer to hard targets. You can't always get 155's up to the front in time.
