Picked up a new Titanium 125 flux welder yesterday. 110v. It is a DC inverter powered unit. Has voltage a wire speed infinite adjustments on both. I have a Craftsman 90A transformer model I have had for about 20 years. This HF welder is leaps better than the old one.
I have to build some trolling rod racks for the boat and did not want to use the older welder. It just was not powerful enough to weld what I need. Sheet metal was about it. I have been looking at these inverters since they came out. There are tons of reviews on this unit.
Going to use some plate and unistrut. Then bolt it to the boat with the right tool set I made. Still debating on how to make the rack. A t-bar on each side or one rack all the way across the back. Thinking t-bar so i can get to the motor to lift it if i have to. The all across will make me have to lay across it to get to the motor.
