Just recently registered here. And never too old to learn something new about cast bullets. 73 years old a living in Louisiana. Like shooting my military surplus rifles, but currently only shoot a Finn model 27 with Lyman's 314299. Had that one over 30 years. crazy times we are living in. Stay well, stay safe. Frank

A hearty Buckeye welcome from NE Ohio!

Been to Houma, Metairie, Slidell, Lake Charles and several other cities I have forgotten about.

Sept. 10, 2021 Steve left us. You are missed.
Welcome Frank. I spent a couple of months at Ft. Polk, don't hold that against you. ;)

Welcome from a not so newbie to a newbie.
(Brad said that I had to quit using the phrase "from one newbie to another " because I have been here for 3 years now.) :sigh:

Thanks all for the warm welcome very much appreciated. New Orleans is 3 hours away. They had huge crowds for the various parades. When over they scattered to all points of the compass. Been house bound for the last three weeks. Have about 40 or so cases here in my parish. So definitely concerned. Frank

Really sad what with all the folks who went to the Mardi Gras parades. Didn't listen and now sick with the virus. And a lot of the spring break college kids who went to Florida and came home are starting virus clusters all over the country. My wife and I have been more or less house bound except for food, fuel and meds. Actually found toilet paper but no distilled water for my bipap machine. Local Food N Fun combination gas and food place had some when I needed diesel for my tractor. So two problems solved. I do not go out without masks and gloves. New Orleans has been overwhelmed with the virus. And sad to say isn't going to go away any time soon. I have enough around the house to keep me busy. Just got my sear riding mower back from the shop. So been busy trimming all the tree limbs I've been putting off. Burn pile keeps getting bigger, but can't burn because they have a burn ban on and want to conserve resources. So in closing stay safe and wear masks and gloves. Frank

Frank,
Seems we are all stuck at home making the best of it and I'm thinking our basements and property are going to come out shining in the end!
I have been rebuilding the bird houses that came down tis winter...& when I can I'm casting and PC coating!
Almost do not relish going back to work!
But all in all we are dealing with the situation. I'm from NE PA so my county is surrounded by sickness and Death but we just keep playing it safe as we can! We alway have enough food to last us awhile especially if I'm creative! Only go out for meds and the necessities
Will keep doing this until the Gov says we can change!
Actually plenty of things to do if you think hard!
Jim
