I’m back from my other hobby.

Ive been absent from here for a while now and I have really missed the forum and casting for sometime now. My other hobby is O scale trains and I started building cabooses from scratch for myself. Well the word got out and I’ve built over 300over the last 10 years. RecentlyI have been swamped with orders so I had to lay everything else down for a while. I just delivered 37 and i have 41 to go but I’m taking a break to cast and shoot a little. Here are a few of them that I built. Glad to be back.

First off, WOW. Second, when did O-gauge drop the middle rail? Third, that's hands down the best diorama grass and ground plants I've EVER seen.

Really good work. I did N for a while when son was young - he had no interest. Dumped it on his kids to remind him. IIRC Lionel had 3 rail but dropped when others took over pro type stuff. C Springs and Madison Ne had pretty good O layouts with 2 rails.

Thanks everyone. This is O scale which is 2 rail. Three rail is referred to as O gauge.
They are 395-475 each, that’s my gun money.

I get really excited about my trains , then I choke on prices and swear I'll build stuff ......

These days if I get an hour without someone wanting something or a critter issue I'm usually asleep .

I am always impressed to see the quality workmanship people do. Seeing this makes me very happy. Kind of like Ben‘s stock refinishing of JW and how flintlocks.
We have some very talented craftsmen here.
