I have a disease looking for the cure

I'm Carroll, retired on my farm in Central Arkansas. I have been diagnosed with excessive spending on Reloading and shooting and I am looking for the cure. While on CB forum I saw this link and like what I'm seeing. I don't post much but try to absorb as much information as possible. My current project is a Remington 700 in 6mm. The original owner told me Ammo was near impossible to find and knew I reloaded so made me a deal to good to pass up. Not able to find brass right off I tried reforming from 7x57 but since found some new brass which should be in the mail today.
Thanks for allowing me to be on your site, Carroll

Welcome aboard. Happy to have you here.
If you are looking for guidance to get out of a habit of buying more shooting related stuff this isn't the right place.

Well Carroll, life will be much easier for you once come to the realization that there is no 12 step program, no pills to cure what your diagnosed with. The only solution to easing your symptoms is to submit and enjoy. :D

Welcome to the forum.

If only more people were beset with this illness the world would be a happier place.

Nice to have you here. Now, if only this disease would spread to become a pandemic.

No known cure. You have to just hunker down and pace yourself so as to only spend 25% over your set aside allowance when you hit a sale . Having a Ms that will walk remote intersections looking for wheel weights helps too. She's less fussy about $100 in a grocery bag too.

I guess since y'all offer no cure for the disease I'll just settle down and continue to load and shoot. However I enjoy loading more than shooting now days. Most of my days start in my shop loading and listening to conservative talk radio. While not a newbie at loading I started 1965 with my 12ga and 410 Lee loaders and today with 4 presses I only started casting 10 years ago I still have so much to learn and will be taking notes.
Thanks

Well there is the "cold turkey" cure. Sell me all your stuff for a very reduced price so I can store it, clean it, use it and maintain it. 5 years from now re-evaluate your condition. If you are deemed safe, all your stuff is returned for the same price if and only if your "adult supervisor" forks over the cash with their blessing. That is the cure.
Mike in Peru but your stuff will be in ILLinois.
