I had a fiber optic front sight on my Marlin, 1894 , CBC , 38 Spec. lever action.
The fiber optic sight broke.
I find the fiber optic rifle front sights to be a bit fragile.
I've seen two of them fail.
I measured the height and ordered a new all steel Marble's Front Sight , 3/32" white bead.
This looks to be much more rugged than the fiber optic version.
Today I fit the front sight to the dovetail ( a nice super tight fit ) and centered the sight on the barrel .
I'm happy with the results.
