Some time ago, I bought a 454309 single cav. IDEAL mould.
When I bought my Smith 625 45 ACP, I decided to also order 500 Starline , 45 Auto Rim cases.
The 45 Auto Rim Brass arrived today.
The 454309 drops from the mould at .455" and is sized to .452 ".
I hope that it will work well in the Auto Rim.
I plan to find out.

Ben

Ben, That bullet looks like an overweight button nosed wadcutter. I would say that should be a very accurate bullet.
Is that a crimp groove under the front driving band? If so I have an old lyman 162 grain 357 that looks like the same crimp set up. Can not remember the mold number, but with that much bearing surface it should work great.
We'll be waiting on Trevor's range test.

I have this mold as well! I like it. I dont use it allot, But I do like it. I picked up a Arsenal 45-250 FWC that I have been using more.

Good luck with it its a good one!
