Lol, funny.
My last bird dog would make a circle about brushing against the tree and plop down under it for a nap. He loved it. Told the wife he was our present that year.

Over the past several years we've had small, about 3' tall, trees that we've put up on top of the entertainment center. This year we're going for a 6-7ft. tree that will be placed on a small low table. I'm hoping that Timber won't decide to mark it.
Wolf urine is way more acrid than that of other dog breeds.
