nope this one ain't about the weekend but you can't put worlds dumbest bird in a headline and get any respect around here.
so after watching a few documentary's I have absolutely come to the conclusion that Penguins are the dumbest bird ever.
seriously,,, what other bird walks 200 miles to stand on a ice covered wind swept ridge with an egg on it's foot.
the ones that don't do that live on top of a volcano, a volcano with sides so steep and slippery they can't even walk up it to feed their babies.
then you got the idiot ones that try and nest inland from where seals rest on the shore, you know the same seals that like to eat penguins.
finally the ones that just have to nest on top of a rocky shoreline with tidal breakers, the penguins have to ride and try to jump out of, onto the sharp rocks without getting their face bashed into the rocks again by another wave which just washes them back out to sea again.
I won't even mention the ones that walk 3 miles into the jungle where everything in between the last 100' of water and their nest tries to eat them.
