The more I shoot his one , the more I like it.
I got outside this morning for about an hour with the mould.
It will rain cast bullets.
This is a good one in 38 Special to train my grandson Trevor with.

Some people say they have shot this bullet reliably out of 9mm Semi Auto pistols. I've tried it a few times and got malfunctions.
However, it shoots real well out of my T/C single shot , 9mm Luger barrel.
Just to be clear, the group that you see below was not fired with metallic sights. I had a 2 X scope on my barrel when I fired the group that you see.

That mold has been in my @m@z0n "cart" for over a year.
That low recoil, easy on the lead supply calls to me.

My very first mold ever. I used it to feed a BHP, my first centerfire pistol. Always fed, always
accurate. Never a complaint. A good design. Sort of a mini-H&G 68..

With no gas check in the 357 Herrett , my only concern is there will be a velocity threshold where accuracy will head south , REAL QUICKLY.

Bought that mold some years back. Love the way it rains
bullets. Shoots well in every thing I shoot it in.

I KNOW it works fine in my .380, Keith.
But watch for neck tension. I have mixed range brass and some headstamps can produce
inadequate neck tension in my die set, bullets can set back. A good crimp helps.

This mould design would have been The Thing To Have back when I carried 38 Special with 110 grain +P JHPs. I could have made LOTS of practice ammo instead of "getting by" with Lyman #358477s.

I bought my mold in 1976, so they were around a long time ago. No idea when your 110 gr .38 period
was, though.

Lee moulds didn't get on my radar until about 1990. I started casting in 1981. The 38 Special Era spoken of was 1977-1987.
