Light weight plinking bullet from NOE

Swede Nelson made me a 5 cavity RCBS, 103 gr. clone .
I asked for a bullet that would size out nice and round to .311"
That is exactly what he sent me ! !
My idea was to shoot the bullet out of my T/C , 32 H & R.
However, I've found it to be a nice " plinker bullet " out of the 30-30 Win. also.
I currently use 4.0 grs. of Red Dot, but I also have Tite-Group to use with the bullet and a few other fast burning powders.

This is a fun load to shoot.

I've had mine for some time.
I believe it was a " Group Buy ".
" Dale -53 " encouraged me to buy mine.
He offered good advice !

Brad,

Now you're talking ! !
Every one of them I've ever seen are .315" moulds.
I special ordered mine as a .311"
All T/C .30 cal. barrels are " tight ".

In my mind the .311" version would be more useful than the .315" version as NOEs tend to cast .001" over for me, but it isn't offered. I shot Lyman 311008s from my S&W 32Mag when I had it.

If I had not obtained this one when I did, I wouldn't have it at all.

When Al at NOE accepted a group buy, ( seems like it was 15 people ? ? ).
You could pick the number of cavities and the dia. of the bullet you wanted.

I was fortunate.............

I have a Lyman mold that looks just like that, HP but missing the pin. On my Round Tuit list to make one.
