Never saw a Walmart with any reloading supplies. Interesting.

Ours in North Platte, Ne. also sells guns. They carry a few rifle bullets and just a small handful of powders and some primers.

One of my favorite powders. I too have never seen powder for sale at Walmart. It is nice to see they stepped up for your locale. Here is Galveston County Texas, I have lots of resources and lately, I have bought black powder on-line from Graf's and when I ran the numbers, I actually saved doing it. No one seems to ever have it in stock even though they say they carry it. Unique is so versatile, I have it on hand at all times.

Lots of powders do better in certain applications but I don't think any other powder does all the things Unique can do. Rifle, handgun, shotgun, it does it all. The one powder I would ALWAYS make sure I had on hand.

Our walmat has nothing! However I scored 2 lbs of Unique last fall at our Gander Mountain. Thought it was a mistake $20.50 per pound!
Dicks and Field & Stream now has taken the spotlight in our area...have not been there yet!

I wouldn't go to Dicks if they were giving guns away.

our local [75 miles away] wal-mart carries reloading stuff.
powder, dies, bullets, primers, and some other stuff.
the prices are hit and miss as is their supply.
we got a new manager in that section about 1-1/2 years back and after speaking to him he was pretty set on building up the sporting goods section as much as he could.
it looks like he has been doing it too, he puts up little displays, carry's a ton more stuff than they used to and it's all pretty useful stuff too, not junk like plastic sporks you can hang on your back pack.
they carry 3-D bow targets, duck decoys, little chief smokers, nosler and hornady bullets, and even Leupold scopes.

BP online? I didnt know that, thanks for the info. Can't get if within 100 miles of here, storage regs and low demand have made it extinct.

as an FYI dick's and F&S are the same company.
when dicks announced they would no longer sell AR rifles they just shuffled them over to the F&S inventory.

Buffalo Arms in ID sells black by the case with UPS shipping. Cheapest I have found, but I'm only 275 miles away. Good people to work with, BTW.

I'll never forget the time at Cabelas. Was in there with a fat wad of cash burning a hole in my pocket.Like a kid in a candy store,I'm drooling on the scope counter....Couldn't get anyone to help me? Middle of the week so they weren't busy.

We still have 3 or 4 real gun stores.... a little overpriced on reloading supplies but I still buy a few things from them.It pays off when buying guns, they will deal with you on prices. You don't get squat at Dicks or Cabelas, the price is what it is,at least the ones here.
