Close call with the ferocious dillo. He charged the veered to his right. I only had a 44 special loaded with some 503 clones on top of bullseye. Very lucky!

They are good to eat. We used to hunt them by preference when I was a teen in Fla. Mom
loved to back them on their back with cavity full of turkey dressing. Two kinds of meat, red
which is close to beef and white which is close to pork. Took some work to pop them out
of the shell. Tin snips down the back was the key.

Comparing them to possum is unfortunate. IMO, possum is stinky, nasty awful and armadillo
is excellent.
