Yup.. most them 357 Max Rugers were good shooters. Was two fellers up in ILLinois bought ten. Used the best two for steel matches. Used the next two for practice. Sold off the 6 that did not make their cut but were still good shooters.
Just stay away from light bullets at high velocity. That is when the top strap cutting starts.
180's will but a good "thwap" on whatever they hit. 200's will take rams down with a leg hit.
I still shoot our Dan Wesson 357 Supermags. Make for a fine long range "yote" popper.
