Mechanix work gloves for cooler hunting [High 60s - 40s]

After noting with my superhuman senses that early season was not all that hot [40s and 50s], I lowered my standards and went to the glove section at Menards... Idly grazing through the work gloves, I came across a pair of Mechanix work gloves... The palms and finger sides are pigskin [see the pores in the leather?] and the back is an elastic sorta cushion, but put 'em on... Not bad, not bad. Been hunting Woodcock at least a month, and the pigskin does not get stiff after drying.

Able to reload my side by side without a problem [from my gloves, that is]. They are not buckthorn proof in the leather or flexible back, but everything is a compromise in life... These gloves are NOT padded.

I love my Mechanix gloves! Really rugged, and they fit like, well....a glove.
Mine are no good in wet weather, though. I think they are a more basic version, synthetic leather I think.
