Been doing a lot of reading on molds I’m interested in shooting the Quigley shoot so is it better to get a lot of different molds for the 45-70 or or spend the money on a custom made mold?? And is so who make the better custom molds. Thanks

Brooks.
get a proven mold for the game your gonna play.
'the money mold' is a fair one to start with.
then as you get there and get started your gonna talk with the other players and your gonna hear what ''those guy's over there'' [probably winning] are using.
you'll pick up more loads, and better powder suppliers, how everyone is cleaning their cases, what tools they use to anneal [every single time] the sights they are using, who makes them, and eventually the lube dude's phone number.

fiver, is correct. The specialized games require specialized equipment. Just get one big enough to size to exactly fit your throat. Want to win? Forget the cheap stuff as it is like racing in my day "Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go."
