Took a long time to get this one.
Through no fault of Al at NOE, it seems that my mould sat in a US Post Office in Utah for 11 days with no movement. It finally arrived today. ???????????????

Mould cast great.
Bullets drop at .4023" nice and round.
They weigh 181 grains.

Yes, he does.
However I already had about 4 different SWC type .40 bullet moulds.
I'd been looking for this specific mould to use for duplicating
" hard ball " type loads in my .40 S&W.

Hmmm. You aren't alone in the "Late-arriving mail" sitch. A couple of my monthly bills arrived 8-10 days later than usual this month, I had to access the accounts online to get balances and pay them. The bills finally landed--2 days after they were already paid.

Gorgeous casting, Ben--and per your usual photojournalism, beautifully rendered.

I have the LEE 145g and then my molds all jump to 175+. One NOE with the deep HP makes it to 170...

I need to see what might be offered in a 150 ish weight.

Al makes a nice 160 gr. RN for the .40 I picked up a while back. It is smooth sided for coating only so they fall out of the mould and they load/shoot great. I also have lots of 175+ gr. .40 moulds but was looking for something lighter for just making shooting/plinking loads for my .40's.

I coated these in Kryptonite green Hi Tek

As I said, these cast really well, after seasoning the mould I cranked out 1K+ in no time.

Today, I loaded some of my new NOE , 181 gr. RN, .40 cast bullets into once fired brass that had been run through a " Lee Bulge Buster ".

The load was 5.3 grs. of Salute ( Russian Unique ). I'm using an OAL of 1.142", that seems a bit longer than some are using, but it seems to suit my Ruger, P94, .40 S&W just fine.

At large, whereabouts unknown.
I'm falling out fast with the US Post Office.
I have a similar problem with FedEx. I have a package that's been stalled in Nashville for over a week. FedEx acknowledges possession of the package, but can't say when it might start moving towards me again. It sounds like when they had the big snow storm, they cancelled flights and stuffed the packages in a warehouse until they could fly again.

I hear that more recently shipped packages are moving, but the old ones are still in storage until they can work a few of them in at a time so as not to interfere with the more recently shipped freight that they have to deliver on time or lose revenue. Trouble is, they're already running at pretty much full capacity.

FWIW, Nashville is in the '50s, and sunny.

Ben, that is some beautiful work. And fast too. You got the mold yesterday, and today you have bullets already cast, lubed and loaded, ready to shoot.
Fantastic photography also. What kind of camera do you use?

Nice looking mold Ben
Hard to beat those old ruger P series. They are really nice pistols.

I took those pics quickly and didn't put them on the mould box like I normally do. I figured they might be out of stock, seems like there is a lot of that these days. I picked that mould up on a whim when Al had one of his sales at the end of last year. You should try one of these smooth sided moulds, the production rate is crazy. I got my first with a .458 bullet for loading .458 SOCOM/45-70 and it was crazy how well it cast.
