The world is entirely different here than where I grew up in WV,KY and OH. Browning guns are not very popular here because the finish peels off after a couple of years.I guess I will be taking up weaving!
Looks interesting.Read Zecharia Sitchin's The Complete Earth Chronicles. Of all the people who have studied on our origins, I do believe he's the one who finally figured it all out. His method was through etymology, and he found it all started with ancient Sumer. Every story, myth, legend, and religion on earth came from there and is based on some surprising records. Sitchin does not speculate or subscribe to outlandish ideas, nor does he push a narrative; his books describe his discoveries and where they led him. Truly fascinating stuff.
Which book do I start with? I wasn't sure where the "start" was.It is. The man was a true scholar who read something like 12 languages including the various sanskrits. If you want to know the origins of the Vedic texts, the Old Testament stories, even the Norse myths and everything we know about Egyptian legend, it all came from Sumeria. Where Sumeria came from is the most interesting and leads to some entertaining possibilities.
