New to the forum

Figured I'd drop in and say howdy. Been reloading over 50yrs now, casted a bit some years ago, then got into it seriously a few years back. I'm a bit of a single shot nut, but do have a couple of those re-peater types that hardly ever get shot. My favorite is a Martini with a P. O. Ackley barrel that I built back in '69 chambered in 30/40AI. Shot jacketed for years, now moved over to cast with it, just seems more fittin'. Shooting the RD165, GC, and the NOE 310-180 also GC. Still stays inside 1" at 100. My other favorite is a Cadet that was .357Mag when I got it, it's now a Max using the RD190gr PP. Tons of fun! I'll be back later to talk about some of the others I push lead thru. I don't post much, mainly visit so I can learn. GW

Welcome to the site. Feel free to chime in when the mood strikes.

Good to have you here Goatwiskers! Always good to have another
old guy on this forum! WELCOME!

KHornet, I do believe I was just called an "old f--t" which I am not. I am properly termed a "curmudgeon" which by definition actually is an old f--t, but one with an extensive vocabulary and a p--- poor attitude. So there. Wonder how many more there are on the forum. GW

Well then, welcome from one curmudgeon to another! There's at least two self-identified curmudgeons on this forum.

Always sort of considered the term curmudgeon to be a sort of a refined term. Have
been called same, but prefer old f--t, as it has sort of a more homey sound. But then
and again, what's in a name.

I think I'm barely to B.O.B. status.
I too recognize the handle, and hope G.W. chimes in on many threads.

Old f..t,sporting a Martini shooting cast...

You're gonna fit in nicely around here.Agree with quicksylver, something special with the single shots.

I wouldn't say that I'm "old", but most cars my same age are collectible--and kinda pricey. Welcome aboard, Goatwhiskers.
