I don't know 462, they sure blew it in 1774, 5 and 6.
As to roundabouts.....GRRR. PITA, and from a friend talking to a highway engineer,
they cause way more accidents than a stop sign. But, he says 'get used to it', the accidents
are more minor than a T-bone, so they think lots of little accidents, and lots of worn out
tires are a good trade off.
Me - I get more than my fill when driving in Europe, don't want them here, but here they
are. IMO, they only make sense when more or less than four roads leading to the intersection.
If it is four (two straight thru), which is 99% of all roads in Kansas, then leave them the heck
alone. When it is five or three (more common in old "cow path" states like Virgina, where I
used to live) then a roundabout makes sense, which is why they were invented in Europe,
where EVERYTHING was a cow path originally.
