NOE 230gr 300blk sub load in a bolt gun

Ruger American bolt gun. These are some bullets Brad sent me to try out a few moths ago. I'm wanting some sub load data using Red dot. Any help would be great! Thanks.

5.0 grains of Red Dot should be about right for 1K fps @2.240" COAL and 30K psi. I'd start down around 4 grains and work up in case the RD starts to get spooky at the higher pressure.

Me too. I've only shot the 155 Lee bullet with 15gr 4227. It shoots pretty good. These will be my first subs.

I shot some of the 200gn NEI DD out of my Ruger either 4.7gn of reddot. Shoots as good as I can hold the gun. I've put all rounds touching at 60 yards. Almost always sub MOA at 100.
