NOE .30 Hunter in the T/C Super 14, 30-30 Win

I think I'm going to like the NOE, Hunter cast bullets.
It is a REAL SHOOTER out of my T/C Super 14, 30-30 Win.

My 2 cav. mould throws a plain base bullet and a gas checked bullet.
Today I shot the gas checked bullet exclusively.
All bullets were sized .310 " with my .014 " Amerimax Al gas checks.

The bullets were lubed with Ben's Red and then the bullets
were rolled in the new " Alternate BLL " and allowed to dry overnight before loading.

Nice group Ben. I sort of find it a toss up between the Hunter and the 299.

I've yet to shoot the 299' in my T/C Super 14 , 30-30.
In time that will change...........

Nice shooting and good to hear the alternate BLL is doing well also.

After getting the " Alternate " mixture thinned properly, it seems to work just about as well as the original formula.

So, if the Johnston's One step is no longer available , life will go on.........................

Do hope it all works out, but like most things, over the years have found that the
original of most things always works best. Sort of like the difference between new
movies and the sequels. Same thing with "new and improver", that I most often
find to be new but not improved.
