About 2 yrs. ago, I purchased a Loverine, NOE 326407 , 2 cav. alum. mould.
One cavity is a g/c, the other is plain based ( by Al, not me ).

The plain base is a great shooter in my 98 Mauser Scout Rifle, 8 X 57 mm.
The bullet has a lot of contact with the bore.
I size my bullets .325".
My 98" Mauser barrel seems to really like the bullet.

They shoot great.
A nice " Off Season " bullet to keep your trigger finger in tune until hunting season can roll back around.

I have the 140gr version, sometimes I just T/L and sometimes I squirt a little moly complex in the grooves when adding the gas check.
the 4 cavity mold [once it settled down] just rains boolits everywhere and quickly.
I have made more of them into 35 cal half jackets or just squoze them into 35 cal revolver boolits then I have made into 8mm's.
but I got plenty of both.

326407 140gr. [G/C] had to go paw through the mold drawer to double check.
I got it from the first cutting [probably one of the first 5-6 mold designs he ever done] maybe AL discontinued it.
it fits my 8 mauser model 700 Rem. [not too many tight 8mm throats like it]
it maybe could use another 7-10grs to be a slightly better fit.

my main mold is an old ventless single cavity ideal for the 32 Winchester.
I size that one to 324 for both the 8mm and the 32 special lever gun.
the 140 is easy to work with though I just T/L size-check and throw a splash more lube on and load and shoot.
it doesn't need any fancy loads or much care what powder I put behind it.

the rifle is a solid 1-1/2" shooter with cast or jacketed, no fliers, no wallet groups.
it just puts anything and everything in that 1-1/2" circle, wet/dry hot/cold Monday or Thursday.
probably should shoot better but I suspect the chamber is cut a bit crooked to the barrel.
