As stated above NOE has started a signup list for the Saeco 315.
3 people have signed up so far. And 5 are needed. Kevin

Kevin,
If you are interested in the 315, I have one in 4 cavity, brass, GC, with top punch(NOE) I'd be willing to sell. How close to Grand Rapids are you?

Ben,
I'm sure I will!
I only shot a few of the one's Dan sent me to try in the 340 and from that I see they are real shooters....saving the rest for proper testing when the weather gets nicer!

Both, or either. I don't have the mold yet, so I haven't completely decided which to get. Feedback for either would be helpful to me.

I shoot air cooled WW's.

I shoot the plain base to 1,400 fps with zero leading and excellent accuracy.

I also have the gas check version , it will shoot to 1,900 fps with great accuracy.

Depends on what your goal is ? ?

Ultimately, the goal for me is just having fun shooting stuff. Just trying to get an idea of how others are using this bullet, because it seems that lots of people like it.

If you're looking for fun, here it is.

NOTE :

This is not the NOE version of the #315.
It is an original SAECO # 315 that Buckshot plain based for me.

If you take out the " 2 O'clock round " from the group below( and that round is most likely me..not the rifle ) ....this SAECO # 315 plain base is basically shooting in 1 hole at 50 yards. Shot with my Ruger # 1, 30-06.

I don't fully understand how the group buys at NOE work. Could you fellas help me out?

The 315 buy has been moved to "last call" but the last post was end of March. Does this mean I can still get in if I post my request over there? Also, how do you pay for this?

Appreciate a quick answer, thanks in advance, I registered over there and would like to buy this mold.

There are two types of group buys. One is for new designs and the other is for things that NOE has already made but is out of inventory. The new design "group buys" require 10 people to sign up before the tooling is made/ordered. It then gets put into the schedule to be run. The "inventory runs" only require 5 people to sign up, and then the design is put into the schedule to be run. To sign up, all you have to do is post in the thread of the "inventory runs" or "group buys." After the minimum number required to run the buy has been met, the thread will usually get moved into the last call--which means it is put into the schedule to run. After the mold is made, the thread then gets put into the "closed group buy" section.

You don't prepay for the mold during a group buy--you wait until Al runs the mold and when it is finished, he will send you a pm/email with the 15% off discount code. Then you just go and buy it like you would a normal mold, except you have a 15% off discount code to use on it.
