Non-extreme lube: a cold weather only quest

I have a lot of admiration for all of the work that went into trying to find one lube to rule them all, and I continue to learn a lot from all of the continued work testing and refining lubes. It recently occurred to me, however that the only times I REALLY need a lube to perform with great precision is when I'm hunting. I can easily change lubes to accommodate August heat or whatever if I'm just going to the range, and I can load up batches of handgun ammo with something 'close enough'.

Hunting applications are where I need consistent first shot cold barrel performance, and the only thing I hunt these days are whitetails. Deer season in KY is three weeks in November, ending on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I have seen it as warm as high 50's and as low as 17, but the days of me venturing out in weather in the teens ended a few years ago. What I really need for my hunting ammo is a lube that performs at its best from around 20-45 degrees.

Any suggestions as to what would be the best lube choices specifically for that temperature range?

MML is a good choice. I have some I got directly from Mike and it does well in cold.
I would have to do a heap of looking to see what his latest recipe was. I know he was using a mix of waxes at some point.

I really like Mike's satan lube. Or 6-6-6-1 lube

6 oz. gulf paraffin wax
6 oz. Vaseline
6 oz. beeswax
1 oz. ivory soap

I also am from Ky. This is the lube I use for my hunting ammo. Although all my cast kills have came with a 44 magnum revolver and 44 cast bullets in a muzzleloader.

Don't know what the green lube that Brad mixed up for cold weather is, but it works well down below the freezing mark.

Ben's Red works like a champ in that range for me. It was still working on the other end too at 105* with the same first shot in the group performance.
Me and the ammo sat in the direct heat for 4 hours that day with no top over the benches and NO SHADE.

I saw a report on Ben's Red at -7* degrees the other day on another site. His comment was something like "There were no problems".

Have the fixins for Ben's Red. Need a decent day outdoors to mix it up.
Don't worry, have a bunch. I will get you some soon. I need to get that .326 sizer over to you too

The stuff I've been tinkering with is working great in that range.
1 pound sweet yellow beeswax and about 4 oz Amsiol Saber synthetic 2-Stroke Oil.
