PC in summer humidity

Well, probably common sense: but Just passing on a thing I do in the humid summer to make the Powder coat sick better.
I have a small can (3 oz cat food tin) that I put Silica gel into and Leave it in the Shake & Bake containers that I use often.
Even though my basement is de-humidified to 55% in the summer You would be surprised at the amount the silica gel removes!
I use color change silica gel granules ( blue- bone dry pink- wet) The cat food tin lets you just put it on a hot plate to dry back to blue.
I opened and coated 400 bullets today....While baking, I sealed the container with the silica gel inside! By the 4th coating I could see the blue turning pink!
So Moisture was creeping into the containers when open for loading and removing the bullets!

Good tip, I may have to try that. My solution has always been to shake harder, if the powder is wiped off the bullet looks like bead-blasted aluminum.

Tip duly noted!
I save those little silica bags that comes with all kinds of merchendise. I put them in my die boxes etc, to protect them. I’ll try them in my PC boxes as well!
