Performed a little mold surgery

I just purchased this Lee 6 cavity 38/357 mold. I liked the bullet design but did not realize that it had a slight bevel base. I altered one cavity to see if my plan would work. I used a .358 "T" drill and a drill stop. I turned in the mold by hand until the bevel was gone.

I believe it worked, 5 cavities to go. Sorry for blurry cell phone pics. My good camera died and I have not decided on a replacement yet. I was about to get a Canon Rebel but I read some terrible reviews about it.

2nd pic, both are altered
3rd pic, altered on left (blurry)

Looks pretty good to me. I am not much of a handgunner, but I have never felt the compulsion
to alter a bevel base mold. Besides, I am about as handy with tools as a hog on ice. It is however
very handy to have a SIL who is very handy with tools. I do like loading bevel base bullets due
to the easy start however.
