Photos of the Winchester Model 1910

I don't think a receiver sight base to fit the Model 10 will be a problem. Where one may get in trouble is having the slide wide enough for your windage adjustment. Old catalogs show the Win 86 or Model 71 being usable on the SLR family as their receiver is wider than a 94 for example. Lyman 66 sights for Model 10 had a different number. (66 MA) It's possible a Model 94 receiver sight would work with the windage adjustment set off center to one side as long as the travel was enough?

Had not considered a Win 86 receiver sight. That would be wide enough.
One that I am looking at is for the Remington 760 or 740 models. Going to work on receiver width measurements to see how close the Rem and Win receivers are.

my 71 had a factory peep type.
but airc it mounted on the top not the side of the receiver I think the 1910 receiver would be too round to take one.
I know the 94 AE sight I set on my 351 rifle wouldn't match without an adaptor piece.

Was just looking at other photos on GB of 401 rifles and that receiver is a bit rounded. Could be a challenge to go receiver sight. But then challenges do tend to increase the learning curve.
Have also been looking at the Redding "Rounded Receiver peep" for shotguns . Mounts on the rear of the receiver.

those might be worth looking at, if you could get one for a 20/28 gauge frame size it might be pretty close.
the width on my 351 looks real close to the same as the 92 I have sitting next to it.

I know not having the rifle in hand makes things difficult.
so I'm just comparing it with what I have on hand here to give you a better idea of what to maybe look for.
