Privi Partizan rifle brass

Does anyone have any experience with this brand of brass? I bought a bag of 100 pieces in .338 Lapua Magnum because it was $100 cheaper than Lapua brass. Thought I'd give it a try. I have not shot any yet but so far it looks good. Weight is pretty consistent. When seating bullets, the neck tension seemed the same.

Just thought I'd see if any of you guys had anything good, bad, or other to say about this brand of brass.
Thanks in advance. Walter

I'm trying the new Hornady 285gr ELD bullets with 92.5gr of Retumbo out of my Savage 12 Target rifle.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
I forget the calibers I have on hand, several anyway, all from maybe 10-12 years back and metric IRIC. Seems to do as well as any other and better than some.

Is that the company that made Grafs brass?

Graf sells PP brass as well as other brands. The 30-40 Krag brass that has recently become available through Graf was made by Jamison. My first PP brass was for 7.5x55. I've since purchased some 8x57 and have been picking up various other calibers at the range. Its good stuff.

Is this the PPU headstamp? I've used a few of them, seems to be good stuff.

IME the Serbian stuff is better than anything domestic by a long shot. Near as good as Norma but not quite as solidly consistent with neck wall thickness.

Excellent quality! I've been using it since the early '90's with no problems at all. In fact, I still use some of the ca. 1992 brass in my 7.62 x 54R.

No problem with any I have loaded WITH THE EXCEPTION OF HORNET.
Hornet was excessively thick at neck, and out of 50, only had about half
that were useable.

Well I guess I am the odd man out. 7.5x55 and 7.62x54 I got from Grafs when it first became available. 7.5 had what looked to be lube issues at the neck shoulder junction. Same thing with the 7.62 only it was on the inside of the neck.
A call to Grafs and the promptly replaced it.

I just loaded up some more rounds with some 300gr Berger Hybrid OTM Tactical bullets. It sure seemed like I could tell a pretty good difference in neck tension in this lot of 50pcs.
I guess the proof will be in the pudding......

Yes, I have won a whole bunch of Swiss rifle match medals with Prvi brass in the last 10 years. Started with GRAF
headstamp and then Graf stopped getting it custom marked, just import the Prvi stuff with cyrillic headstamp -
"pi-pi-wye" in the cyrillic alphabet which most Americans see as "nny", which is actually PPU. Newer stuff is marked
PPU in English characters.
I have used 300 cases for match work for 10 or more years. Started losing some to neck cracks so started
annealing necks and stopped the cracking.

Good brass.
