RCBS Lube -sizer problem

I have a RCBS lube-sizer that leaves a "glob" of lube under the bullet. I am barely putting enough pressure with the wrench to fill the lube groove and it still leaves lube under the bullet. I placed the same sizer die in my Lyman 45 and it works great.

I have tried all I know and would appreciate some suggestion or solutions if you can help.

Thanks, Malcolm

Hold down pressure on the bullet against the stop at the bottom of the stroke, pull the lube wrench, release pressure with the lube wrench, eject bullet. If it still does it, adjust your ejector stop so that the base of the bullet doesn't coincide with a lube hole in the die.

At large, whereabouts unknown.
And the bullet is not bevel based, right? You can also try adjusting the bullet stop a little deeper, or a little higher. Perhaps you're hitting the stop with the bullet base right at a lube hole.

I bet they knew because they have been down the same road in the past.

Brad--NOT ME. No, not ever. {Grin.....} Experience--the thing you get, when you you don't get the thing you want.

It took a few dozen years of Lyman 450 usage to finally figure out that with this system heat is a good friend while lube pressure will mess with you.....less is more--more or less. The ratchet handles are no more, and in their place are 3/8" box end wrenches that can be "reversed" more easily. Another venue of this hobby field in which art plays a stronger role than science.
