Remington 760 or 740 Receiver Width

Greetings
Anyone own a Rem model 760 or 740 ? If so could you please measure the upper receiver width where a receiver sight would mount.
Looking to see if the Rem and the Winchester model 1910 are close enough to use the Rem sight on the Winchester. Rem 760 / 740 receiver sights are plentiful and inexpensive compared to the Win sight.

Got a first year 740....will be home tomorrow for brunch.And I "think" there's a receiver site for it in the spares/sight bxs.

Remington sure has produced some fine looking pumps and semi auto rifle over the years. Went through the lists for sale at GB on those two models (740 / 760). They are nicely formed.
