Removed the G/C Shank on a 7mm Mould

I've always had good luck with the Lee Soup Can 132 gr G/C bullet in my many 7 mm rifles. Here is a 5 round group fired at 50 yards:

I've always wanted to try the bullet at slower speeds ( 1,100 - 1,300 fps ) with a plain base.

I ordered a 6 flute reamer and accomplished the task a few days ago.
Yesterday, I cast about 100 or so, sized them to .2863" , lubed with Carnuba Blue and then rolled in BLL. I'm ready to test them.

Bet they make tiny holes.
Nice work Ben. I think you have check shank removal down pretty good.

I always shudder when I hear about somebody using a twist drill to work on a mold. You can see from Ben's good work how well the proper tool works. Good job Ben!

Whaddaya mean? Twist drills make round, accurately-sized, centered, straight holes, don't they?

Maybe in your world! In mine they are crooked, not to size, rough, and not even close to round.
