Well Rick brought over some split oak firewood last Saturday and we finally got a chance to relax, BBQ, and have some conversation with my brother Joe. Karyn and Dave managed to kill a couple of bottles of wine, Joe and I stuck with water. Nice evening, and thanks again Rick for the wood. Maybe you could join us Friday night for a repeat of last night. Looks a little wet for tonight.

Hard to take pictures by fire light and see anything but fire. That’s me and Dave’s in the darkness to the right.
The Biscuit is at my feet.

No but thanks Rick. This stuff burns slow and we aren’t night owls anymore. Probably have some left over.

Looking like we might pull out Friday morning, might wait till Saturday. All roads to New Albany Mississippi seem to lead through Memphis. One Alternative route leads through Batesville. Not sure about that. Even Memphis sounds better.

Doing pretty good on it, need to make a Walmart and Lowe’s run for small stuff. But got a lot done before a case of the lazies kicked in.
Need to get the oil changed in the Tundra.

Walmart for camper supplies? Are you doing your own oil change or taking it somewhere?

I can call the place I use, don't know if they can get you in until I talk with them. One place I recommend never using is the only "oil change" place in town, well, that's what they call it, I call it a scam outfit. Let me know if you want me to call my place.

Well Friday and it’s still windy. Thursday was seriously windy, supposed to be raining up to an inch and a half, but maybe got 1/4 inch. Which suits me just fine.
Anyway went to dinner a Colton’s for steaks and had a very good meal. Well Rick apparently got a tough sirloin so that was a bum deal as he was picking up the check.
But a nice evening with Rick, Joe, Dave, Karyn and myself. Afterwards we all came back to the campground and watched Rick play with Biscuit. Rick was the first to bail because of the wind making it cold.
Dave pulled out this morning.

We have decided to stay till Sunday morning then head to Mississippi.
More later, Karyn and I are checking out the area. Pretty nice here.

Hhmmm . . . I thought Bisquit was playing with me????

That wind coming out of the north made it feel a lot colder than what it was. Have I mentioned lately that I hate wind.
