I didn't want to step on Waco's thread so here is my newest deer rifle. Like i stated above it is a very good condition with little blueing wear or wood scratching. And i like the looks of the bolt handle.
I didn't want to put the customary side mount for a scope on it. So i asked my LGS if they could mount a weaver base on the front ring of the action. To make it a modified scout scope mount.
So these pictures are the after of mounting the base.
The only drawback to this rifle is that the throat is very short. I have to seat the bullets .04" deeper in the case than any of my other 30/30's.
