Yes there are ugly bullets. I've cast some of them. And like you I've sent some of mine down the road.I love this thread!
I haven't "paid my cover-charge" yet, but will submit a pic soon. It will not be terribly exciting, as I have narrowed my selection of moulds from over a hundred to about two per caliber for 22, 30, 35 and 44. Everything else is gone and I am enjoying not dividing my attention so many different ways.
As shallow as it may seem to some, there are ugly bullets and beautiful bullets, and I don't like casting ugly bullets. There are a LOT of beautiful bullets in this thread.

Not for me, I much rather have a 44 than a 41...as long as the 44 was a 44, instead of a 43 with too slow of a twist. Also, it needs to have the same SAAMI specs for groove diameter for both, Rifle and pistol. Those be fighting words for some pilgram.
.432 is close enough for me. I’m not having trouble with heaviesNot for me, I much rather have a 44 than a 41...as long as the 44 was a 44, instead of a 43 with too slow of a twist. Also, it needs to have the same SAAMI specs for groove diameter for both, Rifle and pistol.
