Add Amazon to the mix and it gets even more entertaining.
I'll spare everyone the long ongoing rant, but yeah, it's even worse than normal, and USPS is the worst. FedEx and UPS have actually been "not terrible" this year and UPS drivers are actually capable of backing down my drive and staying IN IT, instead of in the yard. I should add that the "girls" never seemed to have the problem backing up. Maybe they tutored the guys over summer? One guy made an unholy mess of it last year and I told him "aw it's OK, but go back and tell your boss you want the GOOD MIRRORS like they gave the girl who was hear yesterday."
Being forced to procure medical supplies "mail-order" only has polluted this whole mess with even more stress, as you watch something bypass your sate, go two more states in another direction and grow roots for a week, minimum, before it finally shows up sans tracking for a week.
That said, my regular mail carrier is an absolute gem.
