In the past I would always scrounge interesting 'drops' from the metal shop at the company I worked at. Last week while cleaning my garage, I decided to recycle two buckets of those steel/alum/stainless 'drops', because I almost never use the stuff and it's been sitting for years, taking up space in my garage. So I got rid of most of it last week.
I held back these, cuz I though one of our cast bullet machinists would like them?
there is eight, and only eight. They are steel, unknown (to me) steel.
The rusty patina is included. The two shown on the left are the worst rust and it's just on the one side shown, what is seen on the others is typical everywhere else.
1" OD
.375 ID
4.5" long (give or take an 1/16")
These were what was left at the end of 10 foot pieces, when they were cut for a job. So one end is factory and the other end is sharp edge made by a band saw.
the Steel is free, take one or all? But you must pay postage, $7.50 USPS flat rate.
